Our Classes
At Playwise, we offer a range of classes that are tailored to the age and developmental stage of your child. Classes are curated to provide a fun and engaging learning experience for your child.

Each class begins with a choice of play invitations that focus on developmentally appropriate sensory exploration and fine motor skill development before coming together for group time and finishing in the gross motor play area. Experiences on offer change each week.

crawlers
Our crawler classes are designed for little ones who are starting to move or already crawling. Emphasis is on sensory exploration, tummy time and developing core strength. Through music and singing, we encourage simple gestures like clapping and waving. This class is aimed at those 5-12 months.

WALKERs
This class is designed for little ones who are beginning to explore their environment on two feet. They will be challenged to move along, up, down, over and under different surfaces and obstacles. We encourage them to follow along as we sing familiar nursery rhymes as well as introducing new songs for speech and motor development.

EXPLORERs
This class is designed for little ones who are confidently exploring their world. They will be tackling the equipment with greater ease as they climb, hang, swing, roll and jump. Play invitations include more imaginative play and smaller pieces, while fine motor activities involve more precise movements and holding a variety of implements. Group time now includes some games, turn-taking and listening activities.

MULTI-AGE (0-5 years)
Playgroup reimagined! This class includes sensory play, group time and gross motor play. Play is guided by the children, with opportunities for them to explore play invitations and use equipment in ways that suit their individual developmental needs. Group time participation is optional.

OPEN PLAY (0-5 YRS)
This class is for those seeking more unstructured play time, or for families with siblings wanting to participate together. There are a range of play invitations to engage in, including sensory experiences like playdough or water play, and open access to the gross motor play area for the duration of the class.
